So after all was said and done I told them to forget about it I cant just keep throwing parts at my car and rack up a $2000 AC bill on a car I spent $6000 on six years ago.
Overall I was really disappointed about the clarity of the whole situation. Instead of seeing me as a young college student that probably doesn't have the money to fix what was wrong with it, (Electric signals in the car were fried) I was taken advantage of just to increase there own revenue.
My Honda has done me great the past six years, but I guess when she does eventually break down I'll be trading her in for a Toyota or a Chevy. Despite how much I like Honda's I cant bring myself to spend any more money on them because of the way I was treated.
The next day I go in the correct part was ordered but it was cracked, another day wasted. After two weeks of no calls, I finally get one telling me to bring it in, that they got the part. I take my Honda in they put the new computer in, I was looking forward to driving to my college class in Gainsville with cool AC that day, but to my dismay, what do you know my car needs another part that'll cost me another 300$ but don't worry guys they'll cut me on labor for it.
I purchased a vehicle from this business on January 13, 2017. The transaction was seamless from start to finish. I started the process online and then made a trip to the dealership. Everyone that I dealt with was polite, professional and very knowledgeable, to include Sales Associate, Travis Williams, Internet Sales Manager, Herb Gartman, General Manager, Chris Palm and Finance Director, Angela Depratter. I got a deal that I could not refuse on a great car! I was very pleased with the entire process. Chris Palm has an awesome team around him. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or used car!
So after saving up around five to six hundred dollars I wanted to look at possibly getting my ac fixed. I took it in a payed 100$ for a diagnostics test to figure out what was wrong with it. My car started with getting a new AC head for $500, they claimed this is what was wrong with it following the test. "Oh yeah yeah, well get you this ac head and your cars ac will be nice and cool." Later that day I get a call, "Oh it looks we cant get the AC head working because the computer is bad, that'll only be another 200$."
Hello Everyone! I've been an avid Honda driver for 6 years, but upon my unfortunate experience, let me explain why I probably won't be in my foreseeable future. I took my 2001 Honda in to get the AC fixed after everything was said and done I was utterly disappointed with how the whole situation was handled and it's probably the worst form of customer service I have ever seen... coming from someone who has worked in customer service industry for a few years now.
When I've had conversations about cars with friends and colleagues I have always talked highly of Honda's and recommend them, never again will I do that.
Bought an Accord there. Up side I never had to use the service department. Did not like the Accord so we went back to look at the crv. They seemed way to confident that we would buy what ever they dumped and they did just that dumped. They handed us a deal sticker price with an outrageous interest rate. Might as well put it on the Master Card. Pretty sure the salesmen had little control over that but the little weasel sitting behind the desk crunching numbers did. I am of the belief that a dealer has one shot to put their best foot forward not 2 or 3. They screwed us around for over 2 hours trying to get us to " take the car home"It was obvious they trying to wear us down so we would buy just to get the hell out of there. Other thing it was hotter than hell and with a showroom big enough for 5 or six cars everything was outside and that where you looked at it 100 plus degrees on the asphalt Buy a Toyota
I was very skeptical about throwing another 200$ into my car that I didn't really have but since I already put the 500$ into it it seems like i was stuck in a difficult situation. It irritated me because I payed for a 100$ test to find out was wrong and they pointed to the 500$ AC head they didnt say anything about a 200$ computer.
My first time buying a car from a dealer and it was a great experience
I ended up doing it and took it in the next day to find out later that day after I've been waiting around that the wrong computer part was ordered and it didnt fit my car. Instead of the tech putting my old part back in they left my car sitting around while they went on lunch until they talked to me about it.
They have great cars, great staff, and great prices! Ray is the best!
