This is not the Plaza, but nether is the price.
This establishment is very clean. The office staff Gary very competent and friendly. Rooms are very cozy. I would stay here again.

In the wake of Hurricane Irma my parents were trying to make their way back down to Tampa and every hotel along the northern I-75 corridor was booked. I finally connected by phone with a very nice woman at the Rodeway Inn. She was super busy but said she could hold a room and asked for my phone number to call me back. She call 15 minutes later and secured the reservation. My parents were very pleased and said the room was clean and comfortable. This was a great experience during a very trying time for all Floridians. Would definitely recommend the Rodeway Inn if you are traveling in the area.
I know immediately if a room is acceptable or not. I have been all over the world, and stayed in all classes and types of hotels.
There is a disconnect between the people that book the room and the staff at the hotel. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand does. We booked a room for tonight but at the hotel it's showing for tomorrow and one has to pay upfront. Choice Hotels should be aware of the situation at this hotel.
