Worst place for veterans if they require medications for pain or if they are overweight
A delightful change from my Home VAMC - Kansas City; which is one of the worst in the system. You people in Florida should realize how Great you have it. The VAMC's in Missouri, Arkansas and Illinois are Awful.
On December 1st 2016 Lake City VA hospital removed the bullet from my right arm it had been in my arm for 23 years wonderful surgeon and surgical staff team everything went well very proud to be a US Army veteran was station at Fort Ord in Monterey California 1984 to 1990 the VA has been providing excellent health care for me I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart keep doing a good job US veterans Healthcare System God Bless America and the whole world go US Army much love
The Lake City VA is better or as good as any medical facility I have been in....sure there is a wait sometime but I talk with the other vets while I am waiting. Wonderful, caring and friendly service.
I can not say enough of the care and compassion my husband received at the CLC here. He was a resident there for over 2 years and the care and support he rec'd was outstanding.. His last week on earth was spent on the hospice floor, again, such care and compassion and the staff made him as comfortable and pain free as possible until his passing.. I would give more stars if available.
