Nothing but greed and stupidity. No power after hurricane Irma, I called er to if we could bring my 79 year old mother's own breathing treatment machine (nebulizer) to the waiting room and plug it in to give her a treatment. We were willing to sign a liability release. We were told that she would have to be admitted. Really?! I was floored. She didn't take a treatment tonight. In the morning we are going to ride and find a restaurant or convenience store who will allow us to use 10 minutes of their electricity. Thanks for nothing once again lake city medical.
I have been seen at Lake city Med center a twice now and have also had my wife in there as well. Here let me sum up in one word how we feel about our treatment and time spent OUTSTAND. What little issues we had were overshadowed by the care of the staff. From check in to check out.
I would like to thank the Staff for treating my illness. They treated meet like a person/ friend. Very happy for my visit on 11/30/17...
Have been to Lake City Medical Center Emergency Room 3 times in last month. Can not say enough good things about this hospital. Dr. Hill is AMAZING!!! The entire staff is so attentive. The ambulance service that took my loved ones - that is a different story. I live in Fort White and Century is the ambulance service we are stuck with. They tried to talk my mom who was bleeding rectally that is on blood thinners out of going to the hospital. They also tried to talk my husband who was dehydrated severally out of going as well. It was the same team of man and woman who did this. I put in a complaint. Unbelievable!!! The hospital was furious! LCMC is AWESOME!!!! Thank you!! Dr. Farrell however is not a doctor you want working on you at this hospital. If he is working on you ask for a different one. Everyone else is FANTASTIC!!
