Friday night very busy. But we were able to saddle up to the bar and eat. No waiting. Good food. Good service.
Took my twin boys there for graduation. Got virtually every order wrong. Our very pregnant waitress asked us questions like would you like a refill would you like more bread but never brought them. Because she was so pregnant and telling us how tired she was we felt too guilty to press for it. Over $100, that was an expensive lesson! We should have went across the street to Texas Roadhouse!!
We were greeted promptly at the door and seated right away. There were only a small amount of tables occupied as we had arrived after the normal dining rush. We sat for 20 min before a server appeared and told us she would be back as she kept walking. She finally returned 5 minutes later to get our drink order and we ordered appetizers as well. We were brought bread first. Then our drinks finally arrived along with our appetizers. We placed our meal order. We were finished with our meal before we ever got drink refills. We then waited another 15 min for our check to arrive. While the food was decent it wasn't all that amazing and there was certainly a lack of attention from the server. Multiple tables remained dirty and full of dishes through the duration of our meal. From the time we entered until we left there were very few tables occupied and several servers on hand. There was no visible reason for the delay or lack of attention.
The food is always fresh, delicious and done to profection. The service is very good too. Worth any waiting time at anytime. Family friendly. Nice bar if you are interested.
Good selection of food considering the small town we're in. Servers have always been forgetful in my opinion, and I blame that on management. Deducted a star for service. Update: deducted two more stars. I've been here about 5 more times. I almost never get my drink order. The one time I did, it arrived after the meal, and I'd ordered it during the initial "would you like something to drink" phase of the routine. Today, no drink, mentioned it to the server when the food was presented. "Oh, I forgot." No checking during the experience: not a single "how is everything?" But, they have steak that's ok.
