This location has gotten better over years with employees who make eye contact and ask if help is needed too. Store sometimes looks a mess but mostly it's kept clean and well stocked with most popular items. Glad to see a store greeter back at the door cause it offers a welcome feeling so customers feel appreciated.
Having met Sam Walton at a store opening years ago I find it hard to believe that this kind of sloppy operation is what he would ever allow.
Again this Walmart had very friendly and helpful staff. For the most things I was looking for pretty much every time I've asked they knew right where I needed to go and a few times the Associate's actually walked me to the section and helped me locate my items.
The Walmart stores in Live Oak and Lake City, Florida seem to have difficulty keeping stock on their shelves. The various department managers appear to have no knowledge of min/max ordering procedures thereby leaving shelves bare of fast moving and popular items...ESPECIALLY the grocery department.
All them lanes, but never more then a few open. Forever long lines, even in self checkout. Do you know how hard it is to do $200.00 in groceries through self checkout? But at least it's faster then waiting in lines. Still feel like I should fill out a W-2 Everytime I'm there.
On one occasion I placed a request for a case of my wife's favorite soup to be ordered for puchase since the shelf was more often than not void of this product. After weeks of waiting I inquired about my request to the Service Desk and was advised that there was no record of my order and that "We don't usually do that".
Quite often there is no one at the jewelry counter to assist customers and personnel that can be found on the floor are not familiar with the store layout and where certain products can be found.
This is a nice store but when you order something on line you have to call them to pull it from stock...poor service.
FYI, the Walmart in Orlando near Disney should be an example for ALL Walmart facilities. Their store is always clean, well stocked, closely supervised, and properly managed. Their level of customer service is SUPERIOR. Take a lesson from the professional managers and staff.
