I ended up not buying my items, took my 4 year old and left. I will not be buying from here again.
Prices fair, service, above avg. Selection is quite good for such a small store! BTW, bicycle techs are #1!
The store set up is so awesome! I wanted to check out everything in the store since I had never visited a Dick's sporting goods store before. Throughout my visit there I had picked up some items I wanted and browsed through almost all of the different departments, and the staff seemed very eager to help me which was really great! (So I thought) come to find out the same sales associates were approaching me time after time with the same questions: "May I help you find anything?" "Can I help you with anything?" Over and over. At one point I look up from being so into looking through all the clothes, hates, etc that I realized I was being followed around by about four of the associates, and a really "manly" woman must have been employed through their human resource department as "security." Or loss prevention rather. I looked at this woman whom had no smile on her face and truthfully looked like she was trying to hide something but was plain obvious that she was watching me like I was strolling all around this store about to try and take something. Keep in mind that I have three hundred dollars worth of merchandise THAT I PURCHASED in my cart. After I realized what was going on I stopped small talking with these associates and looked at the "security man/woman" and asked her straight up "Are you really following me???" "Why are you wherever I turn?" Her reply is "oh no, I'm everywhere." (Whatever idiot) I'm thinking. Let me get out of here before I completely change my mind and bless your wanna be cop ass out and go catch a real thief that is actually taking things without any intention on paying for them! I will not ever go back to this store again after feeling so so uncomfortable and singled out when I was harmlessly looking around at everything in the store and even cracking jokes with some of the associates. I was so excited waiting for the store to be finished, so I could go shopping there. The good thing is.. I did buy a great gift for Father's Day there; but I will not ever shop there again!
Picked up a couple nice good Christmas presents the new free style rockers on sale. The kids are loving for Christmas. Thanks a lot Dick's Sporting Goods bye.
Not good the hunting shirt rack was stuffed short sleeve shirt were on outside and long sleeve were stuffed behind them on same rack. With no price on them. Short sleeve had price long sleeve no price. And the sales people didn't ask if we needed any help. So went else were. I don't do these online reviews. But thought you should know.
I was looking through the store finding things I was really excited to buy, when I noticed I was being followed by an older woman who worked there. Everywhere I went she was standing at the end of the Isle watching me! When I got to the check out line she was still there, so I confronted her and asked "are you watching me?" She said that she just "feels the need to watch certain people" at that point I was livid, when I talked to the manager he told me that they look for certain qualities in people and actually follow customers who they *think* have the potential to take from the store.
