Big fields adjacent to the play park so if you want to play football or fly a kite there's plenty of room to do so. Nature trails for walking. Lot's of covered picnic tables and grills perfect for a picnic or party.
Great Spot to Launch Your Boat or Walk Around the Park!
Love this park! Great place for a short or long walk, or a nice picnic. There is a nice playground for the kids. I love all the trails and very little amount of bugs because of all the bat and chimney Swift's houses. Lots of deer and other wildlife on the wooded trails closer to the entrance and lots of birds on the lake trails.
Love this spot as it is very nice to walk around with the stream and the lake right there. Never too busy with a lot of people and has a small boat ramp and a nice long fishing pier to walk, fish or enjoy the view. Have never seen Alligators as it is very shallow there but they are definitely in the lake further out.
Once a great place to see gators, the water weeds are taking over. There's still a lot of birds and turtles, and the picnic and play areas are also nice. But the gators are gone.
Nice place to go and spend a day with the family. Get there early for a good spot.
