What an excellent addition to Lake City! I love Aldi! They are a no-frills grocery store with some unique brands and items! I don't mind the simple atmosphere because the savings are incredible! The have great prices on produce, dairy, wine, non-perishables, and CHOCOLATE! Seriously, if you like chocolate, stock up at Aldi! It's the BEST!! You will also find some household items like dishes, lawn chairs, and live plants!
Best prices anywhere. Bring your own bags and don't expect to be coddled. It's simple, and it's the best price to quality ratio you'll find anywhere around here. My family of 5 spends 90$ a week here for groceries and we are completely satisfied.
Bring your own bags/boxes or buy them there, a quarter for the cart and your set for a great shipping trip! Produce was wonderful, got large eggs @ $0.49 a dozen and tons of other savings around the store. Don't bother organizing your stuff at the register because they just toss everything in and you bag it yourself at a counter provided. Basically like a mini Sam's club. Most stuff is their generic brand but the quality has been good on everything we've tried so far! Love this store!!!
Great prices because most of the items are not name brand. Also don't forget to bring a quarter and some shopping bag. The quarter is for the shopping cart use (you get it back when you return the cart). You can purchase plastic bags for 5 cents, buy better bags there or bring your own. Great shopping experience.
What would end up being over 200$ for stocking my kitchen, is usually only 130-140$, and that is amazing considering the prices of fresh veggies and meat these days. There is product rotation but they seem to keep the basics on hand. I absolutely love the Aldi finds aisle, I can usually get something I need for the house in good quality. Bagging my own items and using my own bag stash is great, I'm not wasting any plastic. Don't forget your quarter for the carts!
Tip: Bring a quarter for your cart rental (will be returned) and some reusable bags for your groceries!
