This place is awful. You make a appt. they charge for the visit and then you need some imaging done. They don't make the appt. with the imaging place. Then you keep calling they don't still don't do it. Then they want to make another appt. see doctor before the imaging again. They just want money. I can't afford to keep paying them for the same appt. Then they say ok we will make appt. for image then they back out and still want to charge me again for the same appt. Scam doctors just trying to charge you over and over. Done! Switching doctors.
The office is literally 5 minutes from my home, and I will never schedule another one of my appointments there. I will gladly make the drive to Gainesville to avoid the poor service at the Lake City office. For my most recent follow up, I arrived 10 minutes early because I am aware of the need to leave a sample. I waited in the lobby for 40 minutes. When I finally asked how much longer my wait would be, I was told that my sample was now being tested and that I would be brought back momentarily. It should be noted that I had watched this same CNA for a majority of my wait, sit behind the front desk and be on her cell phone. After that comment, I was promptly brought back and had the normal stats taken. I then waited in the exam room for 30 minutes before the midwife came in. Really, just save yourself the aggravation and just go to The Gainesville office. I spent the same amount of time in the Lake City office than I would have the whole drive to the Gainesville office and my visit. Plus I would have had MUCH friendlier care with the GVille support staff. They always tell me my weight, blood pressure, fetal heart rate, and measurments without me having to ask. My first appointment in Lake City should have been a clear indication of the care by the support staff, when the CNA at the front desk (same one on her phone this visit), who was NOT scheduling my next appointment for me made a comment about patients, “-being too picky” when it came to choosing a date/time for their next appointment. Overall, the Lake City office is a poor comparison to the Gainesville office. Don’t worry about saving time driving, because you’ll most likely waste it waiting, even though you have an appointment.
After shelley delivering my 2nd child and Julie delivering my 1st child... now with my third child I refuse to be disrespected by a office staff. Great doctors and horrible office staff...
